THE electrobras (ELET3) informed this Monday that, among the adjustments being analyzed by the company, a reduction in the number of collegiate members from 11 to 9 is being studied, according to a relevant fact.
The company, which was privatized this year, it highlighted that it is carrying out an internal work with the objective of submitting to its shareholders a proposal to reform its Bylaws, in order to adapt it to the best market and corporate governance practices.
The electric company also said that executive Carlos Augusto Leone Piani, elected director at a meeting held on August 5, did not appear at the company within the legal period of 30 days to sign the term of office, which makes his appointment ineffective.
