4th place: Raízen (RAIZ4) becomes Azul’s main fuel distributor (AZUL4)

THE root (ROOT4) signed this Monday (19) a contract for the supply of products derived from Petroleum for aviation with Blue (BLUE4).

With the agreement, Raízen becomes the main distributor of aviation fuel for Azul, initially at 45 airports in the country.

In addition, the partnership may, in due course, develop strategic initiatives, involving the Shell Box it’s the TudoAzul Loyalty Programto supply electric energy generated by Raízen, through distributed generation and commercialization of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

Brazil is ‘exporting’ the ethanol crisis to Europe.

The surplus not consumed internally, the mills are destined for exports, even if production comes lower and the production of sugar increases.

The alert has already brought down Cropenergies, Germany, the largest producer of biofuel in the European Union (EU), which is threatening to shut down some plants, including the one in the United Kingdom.
