TSE orders to remove posts that link Lula to Satanism

O Superior Electoral Court (TSE) determined that six companies providing social networks remove posts in which they try to link the former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to Satanism.

The decision, by Minister Paulo de Tarso Sanseverino, gave 24 hours to the companies delete the posts under penalty of a daily fine of 50 thousand reais in case of non-compliance.

The TSE also determined that one of the social network companies provide the registration data for the identification of the responsible administrator of one of the profiles that have made this type of link.

The day after announcing “unconditional support” for Bolsonaro, the governor of São Paulo, Rodrigo Garcia (PSDB), defeated in the first round in his re-election bid, saw the departure of three secretaries from his government, among them the former president of the Chamber of Deputies, Rodrigo Maia, who left the command of the Strategic Projects and Actions portfolio.

Economists Zeina Latif, who headed the Economic Development Secretariat, and Laura Muller Machado, who headed the Social Development portfolio, also resigned.
