in contact with Money Times, it was informed that this information will be disclosed according to the broadcaster’s schedule.
TV Globo
On TV Globo, 56 games will be broadcast live, of the 64 that will be played.
In the third round of the group stage, the games in the same bracket take place at the same time, so not all of them will be broadcast.
On open TV, it will also be possible to follow the opening of the World Cup on Globo, which takes place this Sunday (20), from 11:40 am, Brasília time.
SporTV Channels
SporTV, the broadcaster’s cable channel, will broadcast all 64 games of the 2022 World Cup.
Next Sunday, the channel will also broadcast the opening of the event, starting at 11 am, Brasilia time.
Globoplay
At Globoplay, the broadcaster chose Tiago Leifert, who had left the broadcaster, to cover the World Cup. In a promotional video, the presenter jokes with Felipe Andreoli about looking like a trip back in time, to the 2010 World Cup.
Leifert’s presence on the coverage has been confirmed since May, when the presenter highlighted that when he left Globo, he kept the doors open.
“I always said that I could return to Grupo Globo at any time, it would depend on the opportunity. And this one is special to me. Cup means a lot in my life (it was because of the 94 cup that I decided to be a journalist) and the 2010 cup changed my career forever”, he said.
On the streaming platform, there will be an alternative transmission per day, with coverage of 22 games. In addition, it will have an open signal for non-subscribers to Sportv and TV Globo game transmissions.
