At tractor sales and other agricultural machinery in Brazil in October increased 9.36% in October in relation to the same month of the previous year, after increasing 19.9% in September.
The data were disclosed on the morning of this Friday, 2nd, by National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distribution (Fenabrave)🇧🇷
Unlike statistics on cars, which can be updated based on daily vehicle licenses, numbers for agricultural machinery need to be raised by Fenabrave with manufacturers.
Therefore, the data have a delay of one month in relation to the balance of car sales, whose results released today by the association are already related to November.
In comparison with sales of agricultural machinery registered in September, there was a rise of 2.83% in October. Already in the accumulated of the year, the growth in relation to the period from January to October 2021 reaches 18.52%.
“The October numbers were above the monthly average for the year. This is one of the segments that should end 2022 with a double-digit increase compared to 2021”, said in a statement the president of Fenabrave, José Maurício Andreta Jr.
