THE Activate Investments made a change to your recommended wallet in dividends for the month of December, already preparing the portfolio for 2023. The broker withdrew the actions of Petrobras 🇧🇷PETR3) to include Gerdau 🇧🇷GGBR4🇧🇷
Analysts believe that an eventual change in Petrobras’ management could significantly change the
strength of your free cash flow.
A new CEO and a new board can define the change in key points for the company, such as its price policy for derivatives, the strategic allocation focused on the pre-salt layer and the continuity of its divestment plan, “processes that proved to be fundamental for the company to obtain the distribution of proceeds registered during 2022”.
With regard to Gerdau, Ativa analysts argue that, with the success of maintaining its margins in the North American market, the company will be able to promote in 2023 a bullish update in its policy of
proceeds, which currently provides for the distribution of 30% of net income.
“In addition to continuing to obtain good results and, consequently, higher dividends in 2023, we highlight that the company currently has a share buyback program, which in the future may boost the capture of value by its shareholders”, they say.
Over the past 12 months, Ativa’s dividend portfolio delivered a yield of 18.65%, surpassing the dividend index (Idiv) which delivered 13.29% in the same period and the Ibovespa which had a yield of 3.06%.
