FTX Arena officially ceases to exist; understand

A Florida judge ordered the cancellation of the rights of the FTX of appointment to the headquarters of the Miami Heat basketball team, located in Miami. The decision was confirmed this Wednesday (11).

At a hearing in Delaware Bankruptcy Court, attorneys told the court that funds from Alameda Research funded the settlement with Miami-Dade County.

The cancellation of the mark FTX granted by the court opens doors for new offers to grant the brand to the stadium.

The news was confirmed by journalist Cristina Boomer on her Twitter profile, where she attaches the court decision of the District of Delaware Bankruptcy Court.

“Miami-Dade County shall (a) cease referring to the arena by the Arena Name in all public references effective hereafter, (b) use commercially reasonable efforts to remove all external public references to the Arena Name Arena that are under the control of the County,” reads the court order.

A Twitter user posted an image of the FTX logo already being taken down from the basketball stadium.
