Former Minister of Justice and former Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District, Anderson Torres, confirmed his dismissal as a member of the Supervisory Board of Caixa Lotteries.
After the radical acts of January 8 that culminated in the invasion of the headquarters of the Three Powers, in BrasiliaTorres ended up having preventive detention decreed when he was still in the U.Sunder suspicion of omitting or facilitating the action of scammers.
The determination for the dismissal of the former minister from the position on the fiscal council had already been given by the president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and was confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting of Caixa Loterias, held on January 10th.
The minutes of the meeting were published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Wednesday, 25, confirming Torres’ removal from office.
