THE Ibovespa operated at a high this Wednesday (25), while companies on the Stock Exchange digested the latest events involving Americanas’ creditors and the list released by the retailer naming these creditors.
Around 1pm, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) rose 5.7% and accumulated increases of more than 60% in 2023.
According to analysts interviewed by the Money Times, the reason for the appreciation is simple: investors migrated from Americans for the company.
THE Weg (WEGE3) had an advance of 4.4%, seeking to resume the positive sign in 2023. Until the day before, the paper accounted for a loss of more than 3%.
Americanas creditors had a mixed performance in the Ibovespaafter retreating en bloc at the beginning of trading.
THE BTG Pactual (BPAC11) gained 0.19%, after retreating 1% on the day, after the Justice of Rio de Janeiro suspended the blockade of around 1.2 billion reais from Americanas held by the investment bank.
The papers of Santander (SANB11) were up 0.04%, the Itaú Unibanco (ITUB4) had an increase of 0.16%, while the Bradesco (BBDC4) advanced by 0.56%.
The shares of OK (VOUCH3) lost 0.15% in the Ibovespawhile still without the benchmark of iron ore prices in China due to the Lunar New Year holiday.
