THE Yogurt plans to explore strategic options for its organic dairy operations in the U.S, including a potential sale, the company said.
The business, which includes the Horizon Organic and Wallaby brands, accounted for about 3% of Danone’s global revenue last year, according to the company.
Danone, which posted sales of 20.7 billion euros ($22.5 billion) in the first nine months of 2022, said the move is part of a portfolio review within the company’s new strategic plan, launched in March last year.
Danone acquired the Horizon Organic and Wallaby brands when it bought Whitewave Foods in 2017 for more than $10 billion.
