THE Agora Investimentos exchanged the shares of Energisa (ENGI11) per Auren (AURE3) in the recommended portfolio of dividends for February. In addition to the new member, BB Security (BBSE3), Itaúsa (ITSA4), Alive (VIVT3) and OK (VOUCH3) make up the portfolio.
Auren joined the portfolio as analysts at the broker believe that “solid fundamentals” and expectations of “high dividends” for the year are not yet priced into the shares. In addition, the company is one of Ágora’s main recommendations in the electricity sector for 2023.
In January, Auren announced the ratification of the agreement signed with the government for reimbursement of non-depreciated assets related to the Três Irmãos hydroelectric power plant.
The company will be entitled to a historical amount of BRL 1.7 billion, which will be paid in 84 installments starting in October 2023. “It is possible that part of this resource will be used for the distribution of dividends”, say the analysts.
The broker’s expectation is that the company has a dividend yield of 14.5% in 2023.
The expected dividend yields for BBSE3, ITSA4, VIVT3 and VALE3 for the year are 6.6%, 3.3%, 6.2% and 7.4%, respectively. The portfolio’s average return expectation is 7.6%.
The Agora portfolio accumulated a 4.40% increase in January, against a 2.35% increase in the Ibovespa (IBOV). In 2022, the portfolio jumped 11.80%, while the benchmark rose 4.70%.
