A Economic Affairs Committee (CAE) of Senate approved this Tuesday an invitation request to the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddadto explain the choice of João Fukunaga for the presidency of the Banco do Brasil Employee Pension Fund (I predicted).
Authored by Senator Sergio Moro (União-PR), the request entered as an extra-tariff item in the commission. “Basically, the idea here is exactly to clarify the fact, without any kind of prejudice”, said Moro.
employee of Bank of Brazil since 2008, Fukunaga has been appointed to the position by the bank after the retirement of the then president of Previ, Daniel Stieler. Qualified as a leader by the National Superintendence of Complementary Pensions (Previc), Fukunaga took over the post with a term scheduled until May 31, 2026.
