O Ibovespa operates on a high this Friday (24), after having its worst performance in seven months in the last trading session, amid new data on interest rates and inflation.
Around 12:50 pm, the actions of the Yduqs (YDUQ3) led the session highs, rising 9.6%. JPMorgan raised the recommendation for the company’s shares to “overweight”, compared to the previous “neutral” recommendation.
The papers of braskem (BRKM5) also rose 7.8% in the positive highlights of the Ibovespa. The day before, the company fell by more than 4% after an operating loss in 4Q22.

retailers Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) and Via (VIIA3) were also positive highlights in the trading session, with rises of 5.4% and 3.7%, respectively, after leading the Ibovespa declines in the last trading session.
On the negative side, shares of Locaweb (LWSA3) led the declines, losing 4.9% after the company posted an adjusted net profit of BRL 60.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2022.
A you know (SBSP3) was also a highlight of the decline in the Ibovespa, with a decrease of 3.7%. The sanitation company in the state of São Paulo had a result lower than expected by the market in 4Q22, but privatization remains on the radar.
