The board of directors of Bradespar (BRAP3;BRAP4), holding company that invests in OK (VOUCH3), presented this Monday (27) the payment proposal of R$ 470 million in complementary dividendsof which R$1.122770724 per common share and R$1.235047796 per preferred share, according to material fact.
The payment will be made to investors with a shareholding position in the company on April 27, 2023. The shares will be traded “ex-dividends” on April 28, 2023, inclusive.
Payment date, if approved, will be May 15, 2023.
Bradespar said that the supplementary dividends will be computed in the calculation of the mandatory dividends for the year 2022. Additionally, the company communicated that the interest on own capital (JCP) declared on December 21, 2022 will also be paid on May 15, 2023.
Adding the amounts paid and the amounts payable, Bradespar reached R$ 1.11 billion in earnings in 2022.
Last year, Bradespar reached a consolidated net profit of BRL 3.72 billion, compared to the BRL 8.07 billion recorded in 2021, shows a report for the period.
In the fourth quarter of 2022, the company reached a profit of BRL 749 million, a drop of 74.7% compared to the last three months of 2021.
Operating revenue totaled BRL 3.7 billion in 2022, with BRL 670 million referring to the fourth quarter. Bradespar highlighted that the value for the full year already reflects the capital reduction in Vale from 5.73% to 3.64% of the voting capital.
The return on average equity (ROAE) reached 53.3% in 2022.
