A OK (VOUCH3) informed this Friday (31) that it was not notified about the decision that determines the judicial deposit of R$ 10.3 billion together with BHP Brasil.
As reported in the media, the amount would be divided equally between the mining company and BHP Brasil, in ten installments, the first being 40 days after the publication of the decision.
“The company will manifest itself in due time in the process regarding the decision, against which appeal is possible”, said the worth in relevant fact.
The mining company also reinforces its commitment to reparation and compensation in favor of society and the environment.
Vale claims to maintain the transfers made in favor of the Renova Foundation, an entity created to repair the damage caused by the rupture of the Fundão dam.
According to the company, by January 2023, more than 410,800 people had been compensated, with more than R$ 28.42 billion allocated to actions carried out by the Foundation.
