The stock started to be traded ‘ex-dividends’ on April 28th. The price per share is R$0.35.
Equatorial profit lower than expected
A Equatorial recorded a net profit of R$ 288 million in the first quarter of 2023 (1Q23).
The number represents a drop of 57.6% compared to the company’s result in the same period of the previous year, when the Equatorial recorded earnings of R$ 679 million.
The result was also lower than expected by the market, which calculated a profit of R$ 447 million for Equatorial, according to Bloomberg’s consensus.
