A Truxt Investments now holds 42.7 million shares of Prio (PRIO3), which is equivalent to 4.82% of the company’s share capital, according to a press release this Thursday (1st). The slice represents a reduction compared to the 5.2% that the manager held until the last day 19.

According to the oil company, the investors declared that the changes made are not intended to change the composition of the company’s control or administrative structure. A little over two years ago, Truxt held around 15% of Prio’s shares.

The announcement comes at a time of greater pessimism about oil demand in the international market, at the same time that the Brazilian market is starting to look for stocks that will benefit from the drop in future interest rates.
