Why is Totvs no longer a ‘buy’ for UBS BB?

O UBS lowered the indication of TOTS3 from purchase to neutralin addition to having cut the target price from BRL 36 to BRL 34.

According to Leonardo Olmos and the UBS team, the revision was due to the incorporation of the “mixed” results of the first quarter of the year and the expectation of a “softer” second round of balance sheets.

Analysts expect annual recurring revenue (ARR) and margin growth for Totvs Techfin weak in the year.

UBS also cut expected net income for 2023 and 2024 by 13%. Olmos and team say that, although most of the points that lead to the revision are related to the macroeconomic scenario, they still “may limit the momentum of earnings”.
