Ibovespa does not operate on this Corpus Christi Thursday; check the recess calendar

O Ibovespa will not operate next Thursday (8), in recess due to the holiday Corpus Christi, as well as the other indices of the Brazilian Stock Exchange. But B3 returns to normal on Friday (9), without amendment.

You global marketsin turn, follow the calendar normally, with negotiations on the Stock Exchanges of U.S and in most of the markets in Europe.

Although it is not a holiday, the day of Corpus Christi is considered optional. Therefore, some services will be closed or will have their functioning modified.

This is also the case for banks and of Mail, which will not work on this day. Check out what’s open and closed on Thursday.

With that, the Ibovespa ends its half-yearly calendar of recesses, and continues for two months without breaks. The next Stock Exchange holiday takes place on September 7, on Independence Day.
