To company of plans of Hapvida (HAPV3) announced this Thursday an agreement to purchase the Octaviano Neves Hospital, in Belo Horizonte, for around 150 million reais, including debt.
The deal involves the acquisition of “at least 73%, possibly reaching 100%” of the hospital’s sponsor, Hapvida said. The price refers to 134 million reais, considering 100% of the company, plus 16 million in debt.
“The transaction is synergistic from an operational point of view as Hapvida currently has around 320,000 beneficiaries in health insurance in the region”, stated the company in a fact relevant to the market.
The Octaviano Neves Hospital has 7,900 square meters of built area, 156 operational beds, including 45 for the ICU, of which 30 for the neonatal ICU and 15 for the adult ICU, said Hapvida.
