Petrobras and Vale in New York and Gerdau and Taesa event: get ready for the week

Ânima (ANIM3), BrasilAgro, camel (CAML3), Gerdau (GGBR4), Petrobras (PETR3; PETR4) e Taesa (TAEE11) are among the companies that promote meetings with investors in the coming days. After presenting its adjusted business plan for the next 5 years and reviewing the dividend policy, Petrobras holds a new meeting next week, this time in New York.

Petrobras reaffirmed its intention to sell its full stake in Braskem (BRKM5), but said it continues to carry out studies to determine the best structure for this transaction, according to a statement. A note from the newspaper O Globo said that Novonor (formerly Odebrecht) is negotiating with Petrobras and creditor banks to sell a large volume of preferred shares in the petrochemical company.

5 billion euros in 3 years

A Enel (ELPL3) intends to invest 5 billion euros in Brazil over the next 3 years, said Valor citing a press conference of the company in Italy. The investments are part of the global plan announced by the group, which foresees investments of 170 billion of euros until 2030. The energy company operates in Brazil in the states of São Paulo, Ceará, Rio de Janeiro and Goiás.

Eletrobras Follow-on

A Eletrobras (ELET3;ELET6) selected Bank of America, BTG Pactual, Goldman Sachs, Itaú BBA and XP Investimentos as coordinators of its share offering, in which the Brazilian government can dilute its participation. Bradesco BBI, Caixa Econômica Federal, Citi, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley and Safra are also part of the syndicate of banks. This may be one of the biggest stock offerings by a Brazilian company, worth around R$ 103 billion, according to people familiar with the matter.
