Crypto Storm #114: What Are the Crypto Industry Prospects for 2022?

Check out this week’s edition of the Crypto Storm podcast

In this edition of the Crypto Storm podcast (also available in video ????), Lucca Benedetti, Valter Alencar and Narriman Silva talk about prospects for the crypto sector and which areas have great chances of growth in 2022.

The presenters start by talking about the Ethereum upgrade. The transition to Ethereum 2.0 was postponed at the end of last year, and should take place in June this year.

According to Lucca, this will be the most complex update on the network, as it will mark a transition between consensus protocols, moving from proof-of-work (PoW) to proof-of-stake (PoS). Due to the high complexity of this transition, the update may be delayed again.

The presenters explain something that is often misunderstood in relation to Ethereum 2.0, which is tied to network fees. Lucca points out that the merger to Ethereum 2.0 is not intended to lower the network’s gas rates, at least initially.

Next, presenters comment on the second perspective for 2022, linked to the scalability solutions war. After all, which solutions will attract more projects and users this year?

Press play now to learn more about this and other perspectives on the crypto world for 2022.
