Deputies and officials in Ukraine will be banned from traveling abroad in a state of emergency. Such a bill was prepared by the deputies of the Servant of the People, which has already been submitted to parliament.
Yuriy Kamelchuk, People’s Deputy from the Servant of the People, wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

“According to the instructions of the head of the Servant of the People faction, Oleksandr Korniyenko must sign a draft law “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Prohibiting Certain Categories of Persons from Traveling Abroad for the Period of Martial Law,” he wrote.

According to him, the bill proposes to limit the exit from Ukraine during the period of martial law: people’s deputies, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, officials, chairmen of regional state administrations, RSA, civil servants of category “A”, heads of TsOIV, incl. with a special status, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations of strategic importance for the economy and security, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations engaged in activities related to ensuring the safety and sustainability of critical infrastructure.
At the same time, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that there is another norm in the document.
“Moreover, the law provides for an interesting rule: an official from the list can still leave during the restrictions, but only on the personal instructions of the president.”
The threat of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Federation pulled over 100,000 troops to the border with Ukraine. The invasion could begin as early as February 16, the US agency Bloomberg reported, citing its sources.
At the same time, a group of investigators from the Conflict Intelligence Team stated that Russia is deploying another tank army to Ukraine.
The Russian Federation also rejected Ukraine’s request for information about military exercises near the border, calling it unacceptable. Ukraine is convening an urgent meeting with the Russian Federation and all states parties to the Vienna Document to discuss the strengthening and movement of Russian troops along the Ukrainian border and in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
