(ANSA) – CATANIA, FEBRUARY 15 – A total of 21 people were arrested by the Catania State Police during an operation, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate and called ‘Third family’, which allowed to disrupt a criminal group that he worked in Adrano and in the neighboring municipalities, accused of mafia association, attempted murder, drug trafficking, possession of weapons, attempted aggravated robbery and attempted extortion.
The organization was headed by Cristian Lo Cicero and was connected to the Mazzei mafia family of Catania.
