(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, 20 FEB – Claudio Mandia, the 17-year-old from Salerno found dead in an American college, was “subjected to unimaginable treatments by the administration” of the institute he was attending in New York: he states in a statement the young man’s family, who say they are “shocked and destroyed by this senseless death”. The family also reports that “a full investigation is underway” and that they intend to take “appropriate action”.
The family’s American lawyers exclude that the young man’s death was caused by alcohol or drug abuse but it will be the autopsy, already carried out, to clarify the reason for death.
Mandia attended Er Academy in Tarrytown, Westchester County, an upscale college in upstate New York with tuition more than $ 50,000 a year. (HANDLE).
