(ANSA) – VADA (LIVORNO), 22 FEB – Fatal accident at work on a road in Vada (Livorno) where a 55-year-old worker involved in the construction of a roundabout was hit by a car that crushed him against a vehicle heavy weight of the company, parked inside the construction site. Another worker was also overwhelmed but his conditions would not be serious, he was still transferred to the hospital in Cecina. According to an initial reconstruction of the municipal police, a car would not have respected a priority and another vehicle, an SUV that came towards the sea to avoid it, would have skidded going to run over the two workers. However, the investigations are in progress. At the site of the fatal accident, the occupational medicine inspectors of the ASL intervened as well as the carabinieri and the municipal police who carried out the surveys together with the firefighters of Livorno and ambulances of 118 with the Public Assistance of Rosignano (Livorno).
