(ANSA) – MILAN, FEBRUARY 23 – Against 72,816 swabs carried out, 5,534 new cases of people positive for Covid in Lombardy in the last 24 hours, for a positive index of 7.5% in line with yesterday’s which was 7.3%.
Hospitalizations continue to decrease both in ordinary wards (-71 for a total of 1,201) and in intensive care (-7 for a total of 130). 18 people have died in the last 24 hours in Lombardy due to Covid, for a total of 38,423 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
As for the provinces, the one with the most cases is Milan with 1,813 new cases of which 727 in Milan city, followed by Brescia with 669 new cases, Varese with 509, Monza and Brianza with 439, Bergamo with 392, Pavia with 332, Como with 277 , Mantua with 273, Cremona with 239, Lecco with 173, Lodi with 116 and Sondrio with 103.
