(ANSA) – BARI, 23 FEB – A drawing with the doctors who saved her life and many little hearts: the 5-year-old girl bitten in the face by a pit bull last Saturday. She was walking with her mother in the San Paolo district, going to kindergarten, when the dog attacked and injured her. The little girl, who underwent ear reconstruction surgery, was discharged yesterday and returned home. The little patient is fine but will be checked once a week by the doctors of the Bari Polyclinic. “Before leaving, however, she wanted to leave us this beautiful drawing to say thanks to the whole team” says Professor Giuseppe Giudice, director of the plastic surgery unit.
With pastel colors he depicted, with a smock, uniform and bonnet, Dr. Florinda Gargiuoli, who operated on her, and Professor Giudice, writing “thank you all” next to the drawn images of the two doctors. (HANDLE).
