(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 01 MAR – Ukrainian buses, minivans and private cars continued to arrive at the Fernetti pass (Trieste) uninterruptedly throughout the night and even this morning. It is not a large number, over ten buses and – more numerous – minivans and private cars, but it is continuous.
Around three o’clock last night, three buses and several vans were stopped for checks. The stories of the refugees are always the same: men fighting and women and children fleeing to save themselves. During the night on board a bus there was also a catechumenal family with seven children and a 7 months pregnant mother. On another bus, on the other hand, was traveling, among the other passengers, a girl who had a high fever and was ill. After some hesitation whether to call for help, the bus then left.
The destinations are various cities in the North but also in Southern Italy, many continue to other European countries. (HANDLE).
