(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 01 MAR – The Court of Udine in collegiate composition, chaired by Paolo Milocco, has condemned Emanuela Petrillo, the former health assistant of Spresiano (Treviso) accused of having pretended to inject vaccines to hundreds of children 2009 and 2017 between Friuli and Veneto, 8 years and 6 months. The woman was accused of forgery and embezzlement.
Deputy Prosecutor Claudia Danelon had asked Petrillo to be sentenced to 9 years and 6 months.
Petrillo, defended by the lawyer Paolo Salandin, was accused in relation to the vaccination sessions carried out in the Codroipo district, and in San Daniele and Udine, from 2009 to 2015, and at Ulss 2 in Treviso, where he moved and worked until June 2017 , when she was denounced and fired for just cause.
Last autumn Petrillo was condemned by the Court of Auditors, the jurisdictional section for Friuli Venezia Giulia, to pay 550 thousand euros in favor of the Central Friuli University Health Authority (Asufc).
