(ANSA) – VERANO BRIANZA, 08 MAR – A 55-year-old man was arrested by the carabinieri in Carate Brianza (Monza) for serious mistreatment and repeated attacks on his partner. In one of these, after having dragged her into a wood, he fiercely beat her, until he fractured two vertebrae. She, in the hospital, had told of having fallen, but the report to the military had started anyway.
When she returned to the doctors in December, after receiving a punch in the stomach, she found the courage to confirm the repeated beatings and harassment she suffered. According to what emerged, in October, the woman had taken refuge from the man after fleeing from another violent relationship from which he had offered to “save” her. The 55 year old, by decision of the Gip of Monza, he was taken to prison. (HANDLE).
