(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 07 MAR – The relatives of the victims of the Viareggio (Lucca) massacre of 29 June 2009 have reached the courthouse in Florence where this morning the first hearing of the appeal process-bis for the railway disaster that caused 32 deaths, house fires and extensive material damage.
About a hundred people gathered near the fruit and vegetable market of Florence, in viale Guidoni, to then reach the building a few hundred meters away shouting ‘Justice for Viareggio’. The procession was opened by the banner with the photos of the victims of the massacre and the words ‘Nothing will be the same again’. Also present was a delegation of workers from the Gkn factory collective. (HANDLE).
