The Sardinian parliamentarian, with the Interparliamentary Union for Friendship between Italy and Ukraine, went to pick them up on the border between Poland and the former Soviet state. They brought basic necessities to the country at war and returned to the island this morning with the Ukrainian children and their smiles: “We were able to bring about fifty of them to Sardinia, but there, under the bombs, there are still 150 of the group with we are in contact. We will do everything to save them too, and if necessary we are ready to get back on the road to Ukraine, go back there and bring the other children to safety “, says Cappellacci as he is on the bus that accompanies the children. refugees from Olbia, where they arrived this morning with the Grimaldi ship.
