(ANSA) – REGGIO CALABRIA, MARCH 10 – A 42-year-old worker, Giuseppe Cuzzola, died in a work accident at the Hitachi plant in Reggio Calabria, the most important industry in the city. The victim was the owner of an external company that manages the disposal of special waste produced by the plant. Cuzzola, according to what emerged from the first investigations by the carabinieri, died while he was collecting the waste using a mechanical arm to move the aluminum, a part of which would have crushed it inside the container where the deposit was being made. material. The unified trade union representation of the plant made known the incident, later confirmed by the carabinieri.
