(ANSA) – POZZUOLI, MAR 14 – A long seismic swarm due to the phenomena of bradyseism affected Pozzuoli and the Phlegraean area for the entire night. After the event recorded yesterday afternoon at 16.48 of magnitude 1.4 on the Ritcher scale at a depth of 2600 meters, located in the Agnano Pisciarelli area, from 21.55 last night and for the whole night until 6.30 This morning another 18 low intensity events were recorded, however felt by the residents.
The tremors of greatest intensity, all accompanied by rumbles, occurred at 21.55 of magnitude 1.1 at 1100 meters deep, at 22.02, magnitude 1.0 and depth 900 meters and at 6.30, magnitude 1.1 and depth 2 km. These events were located in an area between the port and the historic center of Pozzuoli. Checks are underway by the local Civil Protection and the Municipal Police. At the moment there are no reports of damage to people and things (ANSA).
