(ANSA) – PAVIA, MAR 15 – Next Monday, March 21, in the laboratories of the scientific police in Rome, the examination of the bullet fragment found on January 20 by the Pavia mobile team in the villa of Barbara Pasetti will be carried out in Calignano, a hamlet of Cura Carpignano (Pavia).
It could be the bullet that killed Luigi Criscuolo, 60, known by everyone in Pavia as Gigi Bici for having managed a shop for the resale and maintenance of bicycles for a long time. Barbara Pasetti, in prison since January 20 on charges of attempted extortion, is also being investigated for murder and body concealment.
Glass dust was also found on the fragment of the bullet: it could have been produced by the breaking of the glass of Gigi Bici’s car, found by the police in the countryside of Calignano on the evening of Monday 8 November, the day in which Criscuolo had disappeared and in the who (according to what emerged from the autopsy) was killed with a small-caliber pistol shot to the right temple.
The appraisals will have to establish whether the murder weapon is the one found by the police in a new inspection of the villa, last February 1st: the fragment of the bullet that will be examined by the forensic experts next Monday seems compatible with the gun found in the house of Barbara Pasetti.
Meanwhile, news is also expected on the examination of the biological finds found in Gigi Bici’s car: in addition to the victim’s DNA, the presence of another male DNA was also found. The experts will compare it with the 3 DNA taken in recent days by Franco Pasetti, Barbara’s father, Gian Andrea Toffano, ex-husband of the physiotherapist, and Ramon Pisciotta, the “bouncer” friend of Gigi Bici.
