Man threatens agents, surrenders in front of the Taser

(ANSA) – MILAN, 18 MAR – A man who was threatening the policemen chasing him with a blade in Milan, gave up when he saw that one of them was ready to hit him with the Taser, and was blocked without even having to use the new weapon, assigned this week.
It happened yesterday afternoon, when patrol officers arrived in via Novara on the recommendation of an electronic merchant who had noticed a young man walking by who had stolen a tablet two days earlier. When the man, a 27-year-old Egyptian, irregular and with a record, found himself in front of the policemen, he pulled out a knife blade and repeatedly threatened both them and himself, saying that he was ready to harm himself. Having called in a patrol qualified for the new instrument, the agent first ordered the man to surrender, then he took up the taser and finally put it into operation: the typical electric noise of his charge was enough to convince him to give up. The 27-year-old was thus denounced in a state of freedom for resisting a public official and abusive carrying of a knife. (HANDLE).
