(ANSA) – SANSEPOLCRO (AREZZO), MARCH 18 – Serious injury at work in Sansepolcro (Arezzo) where two employees of the former Buitoni plant were burned with boiling water. It happened at the company that is now in Newlat (ex Buitoni). The injured are a 22-year-old and a 43-year-old worker.
The causes will be ascertained by the carabinieri. According to a reconstruction, the two while they were working caused themselves third degree burns in various parts of the body with boiling water that came out of the production process.
Both were immediately transferred with the Pegaso helicopter to the ‘Bufalini’ center for burns in Cesena. 118 ambulances, firefighters and even labor inspectors together with the carabinieri were on site. (HANDLE).
