Frattini, Pnrr is immune from criminal conditioning

(ANSA) – BOLZANO, 21 MAR – “The funds of the NRP must be used to the best advantage of citizens and avoiding useless and unproductive expenses. However, knowing that the enormous flow of money is attractive to organized crime, we must be ready to act and remain immune from any criminal conditioning. We must prevent its tentacles from reaching this far. ” This was stated by the President of the Council of State Franco Frattini during the inauguration of the judicial year of the TAR of Bolzano.

Frattini stressed that administrative judges “are not judges against public power, even if sometimes the pronouncements are not in its favor, but precisely for this reason they improve the overall credibility of the institutions”. The President of the Council of State then underlined the essentiality for territorial justice to be “as close as possible to the citizen”. Frattini highlighted how in Alto Adige the abandonment of the mountains was avoided and reiterated the importance of “preserving with absolute rigor the most fragile environment but also the life of the people who keep the mountain itself alive”. Finally, the President of the Council of State highlighted his commitment “to the conciseness and clarity of all the acts” because every sentence – he stressed – “must be understood by the party and not only by the party’s lawyer”.

The president of the Province of Bolzano Arno Kompatscher reiterated in his speech “the important recognition of the peculiarity of this court, not only as regards bilingualism but also its extraordinary function”. The president said about the increase in disputes that “the Province can also do its part to improve conditions”. Kompatscher also spoke about local public transport in South Tyrol stating that “it seems that attempts to influence the public administration have taken place, but that it has resisted”. “The European race took place and ended with a great saving compared to the previous management,” said Kompatscher.
