(ANSA) – VARESE, MARCH 24 – The non-acceptance of separation from his wife is one of the hypotheses of motive on which the investigators work to understand what lies behind the double infanticide committed tonight by Andrea Rossin, 44, who in his home from Mesenzana (Varese) attacked his two sons, aged 13 and 7, to death with a sharp object, and then took his own life.
In the terraced house, on the second floor of a new and elegant building of red bricks and yellow plaster, the carabinieri of the Luino company and the Varese Investigative Unit are at work, coordinated by the prosecutor Giulia Floris. The mother of the two young victims, transported to the emergency room in Cittiglio because she was taken ill, will be heard by the investigators to be able to reconstruct the last hours of the children’s lives and understand if there were any previous tensions between her and her ex-husband. Both of the woman’s children attended the same school, a few hundred meters from the house where they died. (HANDLE).
