Covid: 6 deaths in Tuscany, hospitalizations + 1.7% and intensive + 9.7%

(ANSA) – FLORENCE, MARCH 27 – There have been six deaths from Covid in Tuscany in the last 24 hours with the average age dropped in this latest report below 80 years (79.3). The latest victims were two in the Florence area, three in Pistoia, one in Lucca and lead to 9,441 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic. The 4,145 new cases always detected in 24 hours (average age 40 years) bring the total of positives to 965,508 (+ 0.4% on the previous day). The recovered grew by 0.5% and reached 908,154 (94.1% of total cases): there were 4,653 (508 units more than the new positives) second negative swab in 24 hours.

The currently positive are 47,913 today (-1.1% on yesterday). Among them there are 823 patients (+14 people the balance on yesterday between entries and exits, equal to + 1.7%) of which 34 in intensive care (+3 people the balance, equal to + 9.7%). Another 47.090 positive people are in isolation at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care, or are symptom-free (-528 on yesterday, equal to -1.1%). Then there are another 5,037 people in preventive home quarantine (-277 on yesterday, equal to -5.2%), also isolated, in active surveillance because they have had contact with infected people.
