(ANSA) – PALERMO, 27 MAR – Franco Miceli will be the candidate for mayor of Palermo also for the 5-star Movement. In the afternoon, the online meeting between deputies, senators, municipal councilors from Palermo and the leader of the Giuseppe Conte Movement lasted about thirty minutes to give the definitive go-ahead to the president of the national council of architects. This is the confirmation of the so-called ‘progressive line’ indicated by the former premier for the elections at Palazzo delle Aquile, already given last Sunday. The field is that of the center left.
On the part of parliamentarians and municipal councilors, the desire to give a sign of discontinuity with the outgoing municipal administration was reaffirmed and to strengthen the list not only the maximum commitment from everyone was asked, but also the opening to society civil. Therefore, it is not certain that the candidates will be chosen only with online voting open to members of the M5s.
