(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 31 – Four convictions for the perpetrators of the attack against two young “guilty” of wearing the America Cinema T-shirt. A story that took place in June 2019 in the Trastevere area of Rome. The single judge, at the end of a trial carried out with an abbreviated procedure, sentenced Matteo Vargiu, Stefano Borgese and Marco Ciurleo to one year and 8 months and Francesco Barchielli to one year and 2 months. A fifth accused was acquitted for not having committed the crime.
Against the defendants, all close to far-right circles, the accusations are, depending on the position, of concurrent and aggravated injuries and violence.
