(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 01 APR – Snow, wind and storms arriving in Tuscany. The yellow code for snow starts tonight in the Lunigiana and Garfagnana areas, and extends throughout the day of Saturday 2 April on the Apuane, Apennines, Mugello, Casentino, Colline Metallifere and Amiata.
It will snow around 400-600 meters, but also at lower altitudes in the night and in the morning.
The snow and wind trends are explained in the bulletin issued by the Regional Civil Protection Operations Room which continues the surveillance already underway for the wind, in particular in the Grosseto area, until 8 pm on Saturday 2 April. In general, also today, Friday 1 April, reinforcement of the Libeccio wind on the Archipelago, on the central coast, on the Apennine ridges.
