(ANSA) – VENICE, 02 APR – Four underage boys who united in a baby gang managed the drug dealing in the square of Caorle (Venice) were arrested this morning by the Carabinieri, in execution of precautionary custody measures issued by the investigating judge of Trieste, at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Julian capital.
The operation, conducted in the provinces of Venice and Bolzano, at the end of detailed investigations, saw the soldiers of the Portogruaro Company engaged, assisted by the Provincial Command of Bolzano. The 4 young people were placed in the community, at the disposal of the magistrates. 8 house searches were also carried out, involving as many minors. Three of the arrested are accused of criminal association aimed at the sale of drugs, the fourth of detention for the purpose of drug dealing. Some of them will also have to answer for detention and disclosure of child pornography material.
The investigation found that the gang was a criminal association aimed at the sale, especially of hashish and marijuana, in the square of the tourist center of Caorle, started in the summer of 2021, with orders that were made through social media. (HANDLE).
