(ANSA) – AOSTA, 08 APR – The political majority that governs the Aosta Valley is still changing. Yet another ‘reversal’ is taking place in these hours with the definition of an agreement between the autonomist forces (Union valdotaine, Alliance valdotaine and Vda Unie) and the Lega Vda. Thus closes the parenthesis of the autonomist-progressive government which in a year and a half had lost numerous pieces, remaining with a small minority (18 to 17).
Autonomists and Lega will be able to count on 22 regional councilors.
The council will always be led by Erik Lavevaz (UV) and made up of eight councilors (one more than today). The change to the Presidency of the Valle Council, which is destined for the League, is also likely. However, Forza Italia remains out of the majority, on which the autonomists have put a veto. “The result of these negotiations – comments Luca Tonino, regional secretary of the Democratic Party – is a ‘political’ government that slides to the right. We will go to the opposition because we are not willing to widen the majority to the right”. (HANDLE).
