(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, APRIL 10 – There were hundreds of rescue operations – started yesterday afternoon and continued into the night – conducted throughout the territory by the Emilia-Romagna Fire Brigade to deal with the damage caused by the strong wind . In particular, the fire brigade teams intervened to remove unsafe trees, uprooted road signs and to secure roofs and portions of buildings damaged by violent gusts.

There were 250 interventions in the Bolognese, Reggiano and Parma areas but the Fire Brigade was reached by reports of damage in all the provinces. In some areas of the region, in addition to strong winds, short hailstorms were recorded. In Riccione, in the Rimini area – where in some parts of the province the winds blew with gusts up to 100 km / h – a pine fell on two cars parked in the Alba district: collapsing to the ground, the tree tore the threads of light causing inconvenience to lighting.

In Cesenatico, the waves of the very rough sea – swollen by the blowing of the wind – poured down to the Lungomare in the Valverde area. (HANDLE).
