(ANSA) – CREMONA, APRIL 10 – A forty-year-old resident in the province of Cremona, with a clean record, was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. In his home, the police found and confiscated Gbl, the so-called rape drug, ecstasy and a dose of cocaine. And when the investigators asked him to account for the package containing the Gbl, which arrived from Holland, he justified himself as follows: “It’s a detergent, I use it to clean the shutters”.
The control carried out at Fiumicino on the suspicious package with the coordination of the central operational service was decisive in starting the investigations, after the Cremona Mobile Squad had intercepted the order of the forty-year-old on the internet, who had purchased 2 bottles of Gbl on a Dutch site who officially sold it as a cleaning detergent.
From Holland, the package traveled to Fiumicino airport. Investigators waited for the shipper to deliver the package and intervened. The search was triggered and then the kidnapping and arrest. (HANDLE).
