(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 10 – A 76-year-old woman was found yesterday afternoon in a park in Ostia, Rome, with several fractures to the vertebrae and ribs and profound cerebral edema. The old woman, who was in the green area to take the dog for a walk, was first transferred to the hospital in Ostia and then in the night in a pharmacological coma at San Camillo in Rome where, however, she died this morning due to severe wounds.
According to an initial reconstruction carried out by the police investigating the case, the woman was seen suddenly collapsing to the ground by a witness. Investigators also listened to other people who were in the Dragon park to try to clarify the dynamics of what happened. At the moment it is not ruled out that the injuries were caused by the fall but other tracks are also not ruled out. (HANDLE).
