(ANSA) – REGGELLO (FLORENCE), APRIL 13 – Hundreds of ‘Celine’ branded bags were stolen last night with a ruse from the warehouse of a leather goods company in Valdarno Fiorentino, in Pian di Rona di Reggello (Florence), and to gain the escape route, the thieves, who entered by forcing the front door, deliberately triggered the alarm and then blocked access to the structure by setting fire to tires. Fire and smoke from the burning tires hindered the private guards of the company and the carabinieri who rushed to the scene, who, precisely because of this barrier built by the thieves, were unable to reach the company and were forced to ask for the intervention of the firefighters.
